Acute care in a limited primary care setting refers to non-emergency, same-day or after-hours treatment of urgent but stable issues—such as minor injuries, lacerations needing sutures or staples, infections, rapid diagnostic testing, and in-office EKGs—without the need for an emergency room visit.Adult Primary Care for ages 18-60.
